Here are six important things to know about Avenue of Ice:
❄️The ice sculptures will be displayed on College Avenue and along the Riverfront starting on Friday, February 18 around noon
❄️A map of all the ice sculptures and fun winter items/deals is available on our website to help you prepare a fun day of shopping, dining and exploring in Downtown Appleton
❄️The Downtown Trolley will be available for FREE on Saturday, February 19 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. courtesy of AARP Wisconsin that can take you around to view all of the ice sculptures!
❄️Free handwarmers will also be available courtesy of AARP Wisconsin available for pick up at local retailers and on the Trolley to help keep you warm!
❄️If you take any fun pictures by the ice sculptures, send them to us via Facebook Messenger or to [email protected] to be featured on our social media pages and to be eligible to win Downtown Appleton gift certificates!

How COOL is our Music Department? As part of the Lake Superior Ice Festival, Dr. Brett Jones has taken on a unique challenge with help from Krystal Kleer Ice Sculptures, LLC to create and play instruments made of ice. He, along with colleagues from St. Scholastica and UMD, will present the ice ensemble tomorrow, Jan. 29 from 3:30-4:30 at the festival in Superior. ❄
