For brides who give back or want to save a TON on their gown budget visit Veils For Tails Bridal Consignment Boutique. We specialize in bridal resale with cause for PAWS!
Did you know wedding dresses are marked up 4X sometimes 5x their wholesale price in a normal bridal shop? For Example, a dress purchased for $500 from a wholesaler is resold in a normal bridal shop for $2,500 at LEAST on average!! What?! Yes brides-to-be, it’s sad but true, and boy do I wish I knew about buying second hand before I got married, but guess what... I ended up selling my gown after the wedding a few months later and I got 80% of what I originally paid for it! I mean why would I keep it? I got the photos and video, and if I do have a daughter some day, she will want to go on her OWN search for her dream dress. Not only that, but tulle ballgowns take up a lot of space people!
I started Veils For Tails because my passion is to help animals and raise money for animal charity, hopefully for the rest of my years to come. I am an entrepreneur on the east coast who has BIG goals to start a movement in the bridal industry that is geared towards recycle and reuse of gowns for a good cause in helping homeless animals and stopping animal cruelty. The mission is to collect and resell as many donated and consigned dresses as possible to raise money for animal welfare rescues and charities nationwide. Approx. 7.6 million homeless animals enter shelters every year. 2.1 million are euthanized due to limited space and resources. Veils For Tails wants all animals out of shelters and in loving forever or foster homes!!
Now this may seem like a big goal, but brides, it’s simple, why are we paying THIS much for one dress worn for a few hours?! And then to let it sit in a closet or box for generations to come...continue your gowns love story. Re-coup the cost and save for another dress for your child some day (if you plan on kids).
