Every great balloon design is built on hundreds of little details.

Lately I’ve been spending time learning balloon distortion techniques, something I’ve wanted to learn for a long time. These small adjustments allow balloons to take on entirely different shapes and add a level of realism that standard inflation just can’t achieve.

This Mario-inspired Piranha Plant is a simple example, but it’s these techniques that help transform balloons into characters, props, and themed decor that really make people stop and look.

Still learning. Still growing. Still obsessed with finding new ways to make balloons do things they weren’t supposed to do. 🎈🌱

This one feels a little different to post.

I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and it hit me… I truly have made it as an artist.

Ever since I was a kid, I was always creating. Drawing, designing, building, trying to turn whatever I could find into something cool. My mom was always painting and creating, and she made sure I had the best Valentine’s Day box every single year. My dad was out in the shop working with wood, and I’d be right there with him messing around with scraps, figuring things out as I went.

Creativity was just always around me.

I’ve got cousins who built their lives as artists, and I remember thinking how cool that was. And now… I’m sitting here realizing I’m doing the same thing.

For myself.

That’s a wild feeling.

What started as just loving to make things has turned into something real. Something that supports my family, serves amazing clients, and lets me bring ideas to life every single day.

I don’t take that lightly.
