About 10 months ago, we discovered something shocking: there was no legal authorization pathway for a North Carolina-based paid passenger transportation company to officially operate at the Atlanta airport.
That meant companies could transport passengers there, but there was no formal permitting structure in place for North Carolina operators to legally pick up and drop off passengers on airport property with full authorization and compliance.
So instead of accepting that, we went to work.
Over the past 10 months, we have worked closely and collaboratively with the Georgia Department of Public Safety, Atlanta Airport Aviation, and Ground Transportation officials to help create a process that now allows North Carolina-based passenger transportation companies to apply for legal operating authority, permits, decals, and transponders for airport operations.
And today, it became official.
Always on Time Shuttle Service is now the ONLY North Carolina-based transportation company fully authorized to legally operate at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
That means our vehicles are properly permitted, identified, and approved to conduct passenger operations on airport property.
Why does that matter? Because authorized operations help ensure a smoother, safer, and more professional experience for passengers. Unauthorized operators can face enforcement actions, citations, fines, or interruptions from airport and metro law enforcement while transporting passengers on airport property, situations that can create unnecessary stress and inconvenience for travelers.
For us, this has always been about doing things the right way.
Very soon, youāll see Always on Time Shuttle Service listed on the airportās official website under authorized North Carolina transportation providers. We will be the first and only company listed.
We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment, grateful for everyone who helped along the way, and thankful for all of your continued support.
