Wedding season is here, and I couldn’t be more excited. Summer days spent designing flowers, creating memorable moments, and bringing a little fairytale magic to each couple’s special day.

A little florist tip for blooms that need a little help opening.

I always start by giving the stems a fresh cut and placing them in warm water for 24 hours to see if they’ll open naturally. If they’re still a little tight, I’ll gently reflex the petals by placing my thumb and index finger at the base of each petal and carefully pressing it back to encourage the bloom to open.

The key is to be gentle, flowers are delicate! This simple technique can help create a fuller, more open bloom when needed.
