Time to drop a TRUTH BOMB 💣
I forgot about a homecoming order…
I try to make sure this never happens, but I am human—and it happened!
This customers order got lost in the chaos of my other messages and I completely forgot to make the order or write it down.
Had this customer not text me asking me when to pick them up, they wouldn’t have had flowers for their homecoming dance…which would have devastated me!
I was completely honest with the customer and I had exactly 3 hours to make the order—the only problem was that I was over an hour away in the middle of shopping at a festival with my friends when I got the message!
My friends were super understanding as I rushed home to complete their order…and I did it with an hour to spare! 😅
This customer was so understanding and appreciated me being honest- which I always strive to be! There was no charge for the flowers due to my epic mistake…but worth it to know that I didn’t ruin someone’s homecoming dance!
We are all flawed and forgetful at times- but it was this customers grace and compassion that helped me be a little less hard on myself! Thank You to that customer for not completely losing it on me- which would have been valid and well deserved!
