Friday I did something that marked the end of a chapter for me. Something that I have been feeling was coming to an end three years ago that I am finally ready to make official.

I am retiring from TC Yates Photography. I mailed in all of my professional camera gear to trade in for a smaller, mirrorless camera that is easier to cart around. My passion for photography has not changed, but the objects I want to photograph have. I have always preferred to capture life and objects unposed and unedited. As the seasons of my life have changed and grown, I find myself wanting to take photos just for me, the things that capture my eye and warm my heart.

I am thankful for every family, child, couple, and individual that I have photographed over the last 16 or so years. Thank you for trusting me with your priceless memories. ♥️
