Lucy & Jackโ€™s summer wedding at St. Francis Hall was filled with soft pastels, graceful chinoiserie, and long tables designed for gathering. Towering arrangements of huck foliage added height and movement, while delicate blooms kept everything light and romantic.

A beautiful celebration for Lucy, the third daughter in a family weโ€™ve been honored to flower. ๐Ÿ’•

Moody Winter Wedding at Hotel Monaco Washington DC

There's something magical about a December wedding. As the days grow shorter and the holidays approach, flowers naturally take on a richer, more layered palette. For Claire and Ray's winter celebration at the Hotel Monaco in Washington DC, we embraced the season with a design that was warm, moody, and timeless. It was a romantic departure from the traditional red-and-green holiday aesthetic!...

From timeless to joyful. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‹

Alessandra and David began their wedding day in the Crystal Room at the Willard beneath our new gold chuppah, where an all white floral design let the beauty of the space and the significance of the ceremony take center stage.

Then the celebration took a turn. Guests were greeted by three sculptural lemon displays at the es**rt table before entering the Dark Panel Room, where lush color blocked floral centerpieces alternated with tables filled with candlelight. Fresh lemons tucked among the candles added the perfect finishing touch, bringing warmth, color, and a playful nod to the coupleโ€™s vision.

Some weddings tell one story. This one unfolded beautifully in two acts. โœจ

Paired with blue and white chinoiserie, blooms in warm sunset hues of peach, coral and orange, this tablescape is a reminder that the most memorable celebrations are full of color, texture, and unexpected details.

Bridgerton Meets Shakespeare: Flowers for the 2026 Folger Gala

Designing the Folger Gala is unlike designing almost any other event in Washington. Each year begins with a blank slate. The venue remains the same, but the story changes completely. In 2025, the inspiration came from the glamour and energy of the Harlem Renaissance. White flowers, gilded foliage, and dramatic ostrich feathers transformed the Folger Shakespeare Library into an elegant celebration of jazz and American artistry....

We specialize in design-forward florals for the luxe, detail obsessed events

The 2026 Folger Gala had a vision for an event that was described by words like opulent Regency, peacock feathers, trailing plants, still life, Bridgerton. The linen choices were vibrant, full of pattern, and eclectic. We designed their arrangements with movement, color, texture and flower choices that worked with lighting for a truly incredible event.

Never underestimate the power of color and texture to make a big statement.

Elaine & Trey were originally supposed to be married in 2020. Like so many couples, they had to postpone.

On the eve of what would have been their wedding day, Elaineโ€™s bridesmaids reached out with the sweetest idea: send her flowers along with a note reminding her that her celebration was still ahead. Instead of creating a random arrangement, we decided to surprise her with something even more meaningful: a preview of her wedding flowers. Specifically, a sample of what her reception centerpieces would look like.

I still remember walking up to her front door. It was painted the most beautiful shade of green, and I remember thinking, โ€œOf course it is.โ€ Somehow it fit her perfectly. You pick up on little things like that when you spend your life getting to know couples.

A little while later, Elaine reached out. While she had no idea what weโ€™d done, she simply said sheโ€™d just received flowers, and they were EXACTLY what sheโ€™d always imagined for her wedding.

People often assume wedding flower consultations are about scrolling through Pinterest or recreating someone elseโ€™s designs. For me, theyโ€™re about listening.

Over the years, Iโ€™ve learned to hear not just what couples say, but what they mean. To recognize when a single word holds an entire vision that hasnโ€™t quite found its language yet. My job isnโ€™t simply to copy inspiration photos (but weโ€™re good at that, too). Itโ€™s to translate hopes, personalities, and half-formed ideas into flowers that feel unmistakably them.

Sometimes, that means getting it exactly right before theyโ€™ve ever seen a single bloom

Summer weddings? Weโ€™ll never shut up about them. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿค

Erin & Benโ€™s wedding at Capitol View at 400 was everything we love about the season: classic greens, crisp whites, a sailcloth tent, and flowers that let the setting shine. From the bouquet to the boutonniere, every detail was timeless without feeling predictable.

And of course, no Capitol View at 400 wedding is complete without a stroll over to the U.S. Capitol for portraits. Itโ€™s one of the many reasons we love designing weddings at this iconic Washington, DC venue.

If youโ€™re planning a Capitol View at 400 wedding and looking for a florist who knows how to make classic feel anything but ordinary... weโ€™d love to talk
