We've been quiet on social media, but busy in the background! With a few 2023 events already completed, we're looking forward to a few more weddings this year.

The photo here is of Joseph (Walking Mall Poet) and Mrs. Poet, his wife, at a February 2022 wedding at Sweeney Barn in VA. Together they provide a wonderful streamlined experience. Mrs. Poet will answer questions and help your guests come up with a poem topic (we all get stumped sometimes!) while Joseph keeps the poems flowing.

Dinner on Valentine's, now served with a course of poetry!

I've had an idea rattling in my head for a while. It isn't my original idea and has been done by street poets before, but not often. A "poetry menu" - integrating the flavor of custom-created dishes of words as an item that can be so easily chosen as the searing seafood, the garnished gravy, or the sweetened soufflé. When presented with dinner menus, patrons also receive a menu for custom poetry! I have the honor of being able to serve up my simmered words in partnership with Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs, writing for dinner patrons on Valentine's Weekend. Love is in the air and ready to be honored through verse.
