I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a young dancer, Isha.

Even though isha is only 16 years old, she’s been training since she’s 6 … and those years of training do add up! She’s confident and assured in her movements … and Isha was a dream to work with!

Off camera lighting was done with a Profoto B10, Profoto B10 Plus and wide variety of Profoto light modifiers. Set up was by Indrani and it took good amount of time to perfect the image.

cameras: the Nikon Z8

lenses: mostly the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8.
