CALINE is a Y.A. dystopia adventure novel following a 15-year-old girl, Caline, her adopted sisters Ginger, a cougar, and Gray, a coyote on their journey of survival, sisterhood, & hope in their solar powered Aptera sEV.

Caline’s story is set in New Mexico's near future. A deadly new virus called the "big sickness" killed all the older male and most of the older women population. Increasing heat waves crashed the power grid and electricity.

Folks can follow Caline's journey as it's written while finishing manuscript for the final edit before publishing. 286 raw, unedited pages are available to read towards completing about 400 pages for a manuscript's first draft.

My LINKEDIN newsletter - CHUFF, YIP, & TALK has over 2,250 subscribers. Continuing Caline's journey, added Part 7 with 6 parts now totaling 279 raw unedited pages of a living work. I'm on page 280, closing in on the 3/4 mark of 300 pages. I'm targeting a 400-page manuscript for my 1st book of a Y.A. dystopian adventure CALINE series.

I hope to finish the rewrite before my 70th birthday in May. I'll then reach out to local, published writers, and copy editors to help me do a final edit to publish CALINE before my Aunt Sylvia's 100th birthday in August and give her both a printed and audio copy of CALINE. My Aunt Sylvia is forever young in heart, spirit, and unstoppable in spite being legally blind.

Any help with industry contacts to adapt this project into an audio version, as well into a screenplay for a possible pitch to Netflix in Albuquerque would be greatly appreciated.

GREAT ART AT GREAT PRICES, dozens of artists in attendance, WONDERFUL ENTERTAINMENT took place at the annual Legacy Art Albuquerque event again for the 14th year at the Sandia Resort & Casino recently on Saturday, May 10th, 2014.

Event proceeds raise funds for the not-for-profit Amado & JB Art Has Heart Foundation (AHH) college scholarships and tuition assistance to attend St. Pius X High School to help deserving high school students to realize their dreams of attending college. I am proud to have contribute my time to help AHH to be able to provide over 450 scholarships for deserving high school students since its inception.
