✨The gifts keep giving ✨

Many of you have asked about The Make Merry Project and I wanted to share an update from the heart.❤️

In 2024 and 2025, The Make Merry Project had to pause. I simply didn’t have the bandwidth to run it the way it deserved. While that was hard to accept, something truly meaningful still came from it.

All of the gifts and materials were donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities , where they were used to open TWO Santa’s Workshops. These workshops allowed families with children receiving medical treatment to shop for holiday gifts with dignity—exactly as The Make Merry Project was always intended to do. 🎁

This year, donations to RMHC were significantly down, and I was told that this contribution genuinely helped change the trajectory of their holiday season. That knowledge humbles me beyond words. 💫

I remain incredibly grateful—to everyone who has ever supported Make Merry, believed in it, donated, shared, or cheered it on. Your generosity didn’t disappear when the project paused. It simply found another way to give. 💫

As you think about future giving, please keep Ronald McDonald House Charities in mind. They are doing quiet, life-changing work for families when they need it most. ❤️

Why I’m a Grown-Up Girl Scout: Nurturing Leadership and Giving Back

As the proud sponsor of Camp Cocktail—an adult Girl Scout camp—I’m reminded of my own transformative journey through scouting. 🏕️ Growing up, those camping trips weren’t just about s’mores and sing-alongs; they were my training ground for leadership, and Rancho Del Chaparral was my second home in the summer months. Here’s why:

Leadership Roots: Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails taught me that leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice; it’s about lifting others up. Whether it was organizing my cookie sales or planning a community service project, I learned to collaborate, communicate, and inspire. (Hello future )

Resilience and Resourcefulness: Rain-soaked tents? Check. Lost trail maps? Been there. But those challenges taught me resilience and creative problem-solving. Today, as a business owner, I draw on those same skills to navigate the ever-changing landscape.

Empowering the Next Generation: Camp Cocktail isn’t just about mixing drinks (though we do that too!). It’s about creating a safe space for adults to connect, learn, and recharge. And guess what? The proceeds benefit youth campers, ensuring they have the same opportunities I did, and I can not WAIT to share this experience with my girlfriends!

From Campfires to Boardrooms: Those campfire circles where we shared stories? They shaped my ability to connect with people, build trust, and foster collaboration. Now, as a leader in my business, I carry those lessons forward.

So here’s to the Girl Scout spirit that lives on in all of us—whether we wear the sash or not. 🌟 Let’s keep the fire burning, one marshmallow at a time! 🔥
