While you’re here.. stay a while friend💛

If I’m being honest, life is full right now! I’m overloaded with sessions to edit and more to come, while working a full-time job and taking care of my favorite people in the world. But here I am, wide awake and determined to make time for myself and the business I’m so grateful for. Because sometimes the dreams God plants in our hearts require a little late-night faith and a lot of gratitude.

Photography has always been more than just photos to me. It’s about seeing the beauty God places in our lives every day and honoring the seasons He walks us through. Over the years there have been seasons of waiting, growing, and learning to trust when things didn’t always go the way I thought they would. But I truly believe God places people and seasons in our lives for a reason.

Every “not yet,” every delay, and every unexpected turn has a purpose. Because when the timing is right and God says yes, everything begins to fall into place in ways we could never plan ourselves.

Sometimes we overlook the special talents God has given us because we’re busy wanting more or trying to be like others. But God didn’t create you to blend in, he created you to stand out. We were all given unique gifts for a reason.

Just like wildflowers, the most beautiful things grow naturally…. often in the seasons we least expect.

Today I’m so excited to share my rebrand and new website for LL Photography & Events ( coming soon). This season feels more readymade, authentic, and deeply rooted in the purpose and gifts God has placed on my heart.

To everyone who has supported me, trusted me, encouraged me, and believed in my work! I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sometimes God asks us to wait, grow, and trust, even when we can’t see the whole picture yet. But when the time finally comes, you realize something beautiful:

God wasn’t delaying your path 🙌 He was preparing it.

As a photographer, I’ve come to realize that photographs are far more than just beautiful images. They’re pieces of us, carrying our presence into places and moments our bodies can no longer reach.

They become the words when silence takes over.
They bring back the laughter when a home feels too still.
They remind us—and generations after us—that love doesn’t fade with time. It breathes. It lingers. It stays woven into the photographs we create.

When I pick up my camera, I’m not only capturing this moment. I’m thinking of years from now—when your children will trace back the warmth of your smile, or when someone will hold onto the memory of how small their hands once were inside yours.

That’s the quiet wonder of this work. It’s not just art—it’s preservation. Because when the fleeting moments slip away, photographs are what make them eternal. 🫶🏼

I’ll always stand behind the beauty of family photos—where love gathers, laughter echoes, and every embrace becomes a story. These are the real, raw moments that turn into timeless treasures, memories woven together to be held close for generations to come.

One day, you’ll take a photo that becomes the last photo you ever take with someone.
It won’t feel like a last.
It won’t be staged or planned
You’ll smile, maybe laugh, and go on with your day
And only later, days, months, or years later, you’ll look back at it and realize... this was it.
The last time you stood side by side.
The last time you hugged.
The last time they were here.
They can be gone at any moment, and that photo might be all you have left.
If you lost them tomorrow, would you have anything to remember them by?
So take the photos.
Even when your hair’s a mess.
Even when you don’t feel “photo ready.” Because one day, it won’t matter how you looked, only that you were there. 🫶🏼
