IF we had to guess, a white lightsaber would probably be a Jedi thing.. but that's not what's going on here..

When we are tasked with interviews (we had 4 for this project), we like to explore the options around the location.

We like to walk around with a camera, and a light to help visualize what an interview "might" look like.

We do this before any interview. This takes time but it pays dividends when you get the opportunity to do this.

In this case, we ended up settling on this location. It was a large hotel lobby and we were off on a non-busy hallway, so we knew foot traffic would not be an issue.

The carpet also helped greatly with helping to capture clean audio.

The last 2 shots are results from the 2 camera angles for the interviews.

P.S. These were for testimonials. And our client uses them for paid ad material and they KILL it with them.

He doesn't get tired.
He never complains.

He's also a monopod and not a person, but we appreciate him nonetheless.

If I could tell business owners one thing right now..

It would be that your advertisement doesn't have to "Look" local..

I'm a big proponent of supporting my local area when I buy things, but it hurts me when I see local advertisement.

You know the ones. The ones that come on right after a movie trailer when you're watching TV and the visual difference is night and day different.

I know the business owners care deeply about their business.

They've likely cried at points during their ownership.
They've probably broken a sweat a time or two at some point.
They've poured themselves into their business.

So, Business owner. Your story matters. Your business matters to us.

You've built something worth showing off.. I just want to make sure that it looks as good as it feels.
