A lost boy from the USA has divorced his wife in Kampala after discovering none of the children he thought were his actually belong to him. For privacy's sake, let's call him Mabior (not his real name, but close enough).
Mabior had been living in the U.S. for years, working hard and finally deciding it was time to bring his wife and kids over to join him. Everything was going smoothly until the U.S. immigration office in Kampala requested a little thing called a DNA test. Just a formality, they said. After all, who could doubt a loving father's claim?
Well, what happened next was more shocking than impregnating a Dinka Bor girl. The DNA results came back, and it turns out not one, not two, but all of the children Mabior had been raising were, in fact, not his. Not a single one! It was like an episode of “Who’s Your Daddy?” gone horribly wrong.
Mabior was so outraged that he immediately canceled the whole immigration process. He didn’t stop there. He took his wife back to her father's home, where he demanded a divorce faster than you could say “DNA.”
The news of Mabior's DNA debacle spread quickly, creating an uproar in both Kampala and Nairobi. Now, lost boys from all over—be it the U.S., Australia, or Canada—are flocking back home in droves to get their own children tested. The DNA labs are working overtime, and the drama is only getting started.
