I've been chatting with a few caterers lately, and it’s always the same story — they’ve been at it for years, built something solid, and now catering’s picking up... but when I ask if they know the actual cost of a catering job, it’s almost always “Honestly? No.”

They say, and I know, it takes about two hours to cost a single dish — if they even get to it. That’s where things get messy.
I built something in Excel that changes that. After entering your ingredients and your recipe once, costing recipes takes Seconds, not hours. Yup, you read that right, Seconds....
