☕ COMPETITION FORMAT
Round 1 — 32 Competitors
2 competitors compete head-to-head.
1 competitor advances.
Round of 16
2 competitors compete head-to-head.
1 competitor advances.
Semi-Final — 8 Competitors
2 competitors compete head-to-head.
1 competitor advances.
Final — 4 Competitors
4 competitors compete simultaneously.

📋 COMPETITION RULES
1. Competition Time
* Each competitor has 10 minutes to complete the competition.
* There will be an 8-minute preparation period before the competition timer starts.
During the preparation period, competitors must prepare all equipment and ingredients, including:
* Weighing coffee beans
* Preparing water
* Boiling water
* Setting up all brewing equipment
⚠️ Important:
* Competitors will have approximately 8 minutes for preparation, so please make sure everything is ready.
* Grinding coffee is NOT allowed during the preparation period.
* If a competitor grinds coffee during the preparation period, they will be immediately disqualified.
* Judges will inspect the equipment before the competition timer starts.
* If the coffee is not submitted within the 10-minute competition time, the competitor will automatically lose the round.

2. Minimum Coffee Serving Volume
* The final coffee served must be at least 150 ml, measured on a scale.
* If the serving volume is below 150 ml, the competitor will automatically lose the round.
* Competitors must not use their own tasting spoon to remove coffee from the serving cup. If this is observed, the competitor will be immediately eliminated.
⚠️ No blowing by mouth is allowed.
Competitors are not allowed to blow on coffee grounds or brewed coffee.
If observed, the competitor will be immediately disqualified.

3. Equipment
* Competitors may use any type of dripper or AeroPress.
* All personal brewing equipment must be brought by the competitor.
* Electric grinders are not allowed. Hand grinders only.
* The organizer will provide the competition table and power outlets.
* Each competitor may use only ONE kettle for boiling water.

4. Water
The organizer will provide:
* 1 bottle of RO water with green cap — TDS 25–35, 1,500 ml
* 1 bottle of mineral water — 500 ml
Competitors may use a TDS pen to measure water.
However:
⚠️ TDS meters must NOT be used directly inside the kettle or mixing container.
If you need to measure TDS, you must take a water sample and measure it in a separate cup or container.
If a competitor is found measuring directly inside the kettle or mixing container, the competition team will immediately require the water to be discarded.
No other substances may be added to the competition water.
If any additional substance is detected, the competitor will be immediately disqualified.

5. Coffee Beans
* The organizer will provide 50 grams of coffee beans per competitor, including beans for practice and the actual competition.
* Different coffee beans will be used in different rounds.
* The competition coffee will be available for competitors to purchase before the competition.
* Coffee beans may not be taken outside the competition area under any circumstances.

👨⚖️ 6. Judging
There will be 3 judges.
The coffee will be evaluated through a Blind Tasting.
After all competitors have submitted their coffee, judges will have approximately 5 minutes to taste and make their decisions.
Each judge will award 6 points based on:
1. Flavor — Quality of flavor
2. Aftertaste — Quality and persistence of the finish
3. Acidity — Quality of acidity
4. Sweetness — Quality of sweetness
5. Mouthfeel & Body — Texture and body
6. Overall — Overall impression
☕ The coffee must be evaluated after it has cooled.
🪙 Scoring System
Each judge will use 6 coins, representing the 6 scoring categories.
The competitor receiving the highest total score will advance to the next round.
Judges will rely solely on their sensory evaluation.
No measuring instruments or analytical equipment will be used for judging.

⚠️ FINAL DECISION
The judges’ decision is final and cannot be appealed.
