RUGBY PLAYER NEAR CLEAN SWEEP AT TCI TOP MODEL 2026

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands; Tuesday, 5th May, 2026 –Trevor Watkins, a Grand Turk native and professional rugby player, emerged as the standout winner of TCI Top Model 2026, nearly achieving a clean sweep at the Grand Finale held at Brayton Hall in Providenciales. Watkins secured four major sectional titles—Industry Readiness, Model’s Portfolio, Best Body, and Best Runway Walk—thanks to his commanding presence, athletic discipline, and seamless transition from sport to high fashion.

The show featured four dynamic runway segments: Glitter, Boots on the Ground, Le Bead-Aime Jewellery Swimsuit Competition, and Turks Island Dandy, each delivering bold styling and high production value. The audience matched the energy with enthusiastic support and standout fashion.

Watkins described his journey as transformative, highlighting growth in confidence, creativity, and purpose. He emphasized his commitment to youth empowerment, environmental stewardship, and authentic island representation. His background in athletics, maritime work, and conservation continues to shape his values.

Donnell Williams and Alecia Higgs were named First and Second Runner-Up, respectively. Hosted by Super P with commentary from Brittney Bien-Amie, the event included performances and appearances by past titleholders.
Founder Courtney Robinson praised the production as a platform for education, mentorship, and professional development, reinforcing its mission to cultivate talent and inspire future leaders.
