Whispers of the Garden-A Waterway Memory
Work in progress

This morning, I return to the waterway around my neighbourhood-the Sengkang-Punggol Waterway.

Through repeated walks, the landscape slowly imprints itself: the rhythm of water, shifting greens, passing conversations, moments of presence & loss.

Painted on calico, this work gathers those fragments as lived memory.

Today, I begin painting the water as move through cloth, the way memory does.

From grandma’s gentle pride to my sister’s unwavering support, this moment was made even more special as we watched my girl receive her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUSS. 💞

Her bouquet was lovingly designed by The Mystic Gardens, featuring a blend of pink hues — blush, rose, and champagne — symbolising love, gratitude, and new beginnings.
A custom Hello Kitty graduation plush added that touch of sweetness and joy — a reminder that even as we grow, we carry the same light within us. 🎀

🌕✨ Light of Reunion – Mid-Autumn at One Punggol ✨🌕

This past weekend, the Mystic Gardens team gathered with families and friends at One Punggol to celebrate the spirit of reunion and creativity under the glow of the full moon. 🌸🐇

Participants of all ages crafted their own Origami LED Lanterns, blending traditional symbolism — the lotus of peace and Jade Rabbit of the Moon — with modern light and design.
Each lantern became a heartfelt wish for harmony, togetherness, and new beginnings. 💛

From folding paper lotus petals to assembling the radiant frame, the workshop was filled with laughter, stories, and glowing smiles. Thank you to everyone who joined and made this community moment shine so bright! 🌕💫
