老虎象征威武勇猛、驱邪避凶、吉祥如意。作为“百兽之王”，它在中华传统文化中有着深厚的文化内涵。

在民间信仰中，老虎（如虎爷）被视为驱邪避灾、保佑平安、招财纳福的守护神。人们也常用“虎虎生威”来形容一个人精神饱满、斗志昂扬，展现勇敢无畏、充满王者风范的气势。

本次《工致•写神》中国名家书画展也展出了几幅以老虎为题材的工笔画和水墨画，欢迎大家前来欣赏，感受老虎所蕴含的力量与神韵。

本次展览汇聚多位中国书画名家，其中包括中国工艺美术大师、国家一级美术师 米春茂。

米春茂大师长期致力于中国花鸟画的研究与创作，形成了独具特色的艺术风格，恩师孙其峰先生赞誉其作品为“独具特色的国画”。他的作品曾入选第六、七、八届全国美术作品展览及多项国内外重要展览，并屡获殊荣。著有《工笔画猫》，其作品《猫》入选人民教育出版社小学四年级语文教材；另一幅作品《双猫戏春图》更获第二十九届北京奥运会组委会选为国礼，由云南陈记陶艺烧制成陶盘，赠送予国际贵宾。

Renowned Vietnamese Photographer Le Hong Linh Brings Acclaimed Solo Exhibition “Empathy: The Untold Stories” to Singapore.

Jointly supported by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA), the exhibition features 60 compelling black-and-white photographs that explore the lives of children, the elderly and people facing hardship. Through intimate and thought-provoking images, Le Hong Linh reveals stories of dignity, resilience, compassion and hope, inviting viewers to reflect on the universal values that unite humanity.

The Opening Ceremony of the exhibition on 18 July 2026 was officiated by Special Guests: Ms Thai Thu Phuong, Investment Counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam, and Ms Bhagya Abeykoon, Commercial Minister-Counsellor of the High Commission of Sri Lanka, together with Mr David Tay, Vice President of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), Mr Le Hong Linh, Ms Jenny Wong (co-sponsor), and The Art Space SG curator Mr Wee Chin Hock.

Le Hong Linh, a recipient of the prestigious Master of FIAP (MFIAP) distinction, is among Vietnam’s most distinguished photographic artists. He is a respected member of both the Ho Chi Minh City Photographic Association and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).
