As part of efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, all classes will be postponed with immediate effect until May 2020. We will be contacting all affected students via email. Let's stay home as much as we can and exercise social responsibility to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Next week, the Singapore Government will announce additional measures to protect wedding venue deposits (for postponed weddings) and other individuals and businesses who are financially impacted by the pandemic.

The proposed law will apply retroactively, and cover contractual obligations to be performed on or after Feb 1 this year.

This is a great move and we look forward to the announcement next week. Stay tuned for that everyone!

In the meantime, we should continue playing our part to stay home as much as possible and exercise good personal hygiene. Stay safe and keep well everyone!

SINGAPORE - Couples who have booked wedding venues such as hotels but have had their wedding plans disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic would not have to forfeit their deposits under laws to be proposed next week.. Read more at straitstimes.com.

The Institute of Certified Wedding Planners (ICWP) has implemented several precautionary measures in view of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
- Temperature-screening, travel declaration and visitor registration are done at the entrance of the building
- Class sizes are kept below 10, including the mentor and guest speaker(s)
- Distancing is also carried out where there is a space of 1m between students during classroom sessions
- Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk and classrooms for use
- Common areas such as door handles, tables and chairs are wiped down with disinfectant before class commences
