Pedang Alameng Jawa Perak Pamor Adeg
A very good and rare example of a sword called the pedang alameng from the central or western region of Jawa. Wooden fittings with the handle, guard and sheath fully encased with finely reposed silver.
Sturdy blade with a single sharp edge and a rather pointy tip is rather slim, with the sharp edge on the straight side as appose to the curved side more commonly seen with swords or pedang.
Pamor patterns are arranged in the miring technique of the adeg or standing variations, which is said to protect the owner from natural mishaps.
Length of blade: 17.5"
Overall length: 21.5"
Condition: Except for minor chip at the tip of the sheath, rest is in very good condition.
Age: Late 18th century.

Pedang Sabit Banten Jawa Barat Pamor Wos Utah
A good example of a short saber like sword called pedang sabit from the western Javanese region of Banten.
Typical handle in the relief makara form is made of buffalo horn, with the wooden sheath having the top also made of buffalo horn.
Thick and very sturdy blade with a single sharp edge and having an arcing or saber like profile, is typical of pedang sabit from the region.
Pamor patterns are arranged in the mlumah technique of the wos utah or scattered rice variations.
Length of blade: 18.5"
Overall length: 24"
Condition: Very good condition.
Age: Early 19th century.

Keris Jawa Luk 7 Megantoro.
A very good and rare example of a keris from the central Javanese region of Jogjakarta. Fittings in the gayaman Jogja styles with the hilt made from black angsana woods or sono keling, top sheath made from well grained trembalo woods with a finely reposed, pierced through silver alloy stem cover, having birds and floral motifs.
Sturdy blade with 7 waves or luks that has the last 2 waves rather hidden which is a rare feature in this shape called megantoro; meaning between the clouds and outer space.
Well executed base features or perabots has the gandik using the pogokan styles, with the rare wavy base cross piece or ganjar wilut.
Pamor patterns are arranged in the mlumah technique of the kulit semangko or melon skin variation.
Length of blade: 14"
Overall length: 19"
Condition: Very good condition.
Age: Late 19th century blade with late 20th century fittings.

Keris Sundang Moro Luk 7
A very good example of a long keris sundang from the Sothern Philippine region of Moro. Fittings are made from well grained wood with handle in the typical cockatoo bird from having repose silver alloy panels. Well carved top sheath also has reposed silver alloy panel at the neck.
Very long and sturdy blade with 7 waves or luks and very well executed base features or perabots having the brass attachment to the blade called baca-baca.
Pamor pattern are condense and are arranged in the miring technique of the untuk banyu or water bubbles variations.

A very good example of a keris from the Malay peninsular regions replicating the famous keris Taming Sari worn by the legendary Admiral Laksmana Hang Tuah.
Handle is made from white buffalo bone and studded with red agates having a thick gold plated brass ferrule or pendoko. Fittings are made from well grained kemuning woods with the top sheath and bottom stem finely carved with floral motifs.
Long and very sturdy blade with 5 luks that are located at the base and tip having a straight mid section, which is a characteristic of the famous keris Taming Sari.
Pamor patterns are arranged in the mlumah technique of the kulit semakga or melon skin pamors.
Blade length: 16” Overall length: 21.5”.

A very good example of a keris from the central Javanese regions of Surakarta with the fittings in the ladrangan Jogja styles made from very well grained burl woods, having the bottom stem or pendok, encased with well reposed brass with floral and bird motifs.
Long and very sturdy blade with 13 luks or waves and base features or perabots that includes a dragon called the Naga Sostro, overlaid with brass.
Pamor patterns are not contrasting using only iron and steel without any nickel and is called kelingan.

Keris Melayu Riau Luk 7 Tri Warna
A very good and rare example of a keris from the southern Sumatran region of Riau Lingga. Handle in the kerdas or pistol grip form and top sheath in the square tebeng form are made from hard dark woods. Bottom stem is encased with finely repoussé gold- and silver-plated brass, having different motifs at the front and back.
Sturdy blade with 7 waves or luks and well executed base features or perabots, has an overall shape or dapor called carita.
Pamor patterns show a peak like formation at the base called ujung gunung or mountain peak, and above it are small circular arrangements called hujan emas or golden showers. Along the edges are lines hugging it and is called pamor wengkon.
With three pamor arrangements, it is also called tri warna or tri colored.
Blade length 14". Overall length 18".

Keris Madura Luk 13 Patrem Feminine Use
A very good example of a short keris called the patrem, feminine use. From the island of Madura, the finely carved fittings are made from well selected woods with the kerang or shell top sheath having a brass mendak or ferrule to complete.
Short and sturdy blade with 13 luks or waves and very well executed base features or perabots, with an overall shape or dapor called sangkelat in Javanese.
Pamor patterns are arranged in the miring technique called untuk banyu or water bubbles.
Overall length: 37cm. Blade: 28cm.

A very good example of a form of keris whose origin is from Patani, an area covering the southern tip of Thailand including Kelantan, northern Malaysia. It's very unique handle is finely carved in the form called the Tajong, which had been described by writers from the west as a kingfisher. Although it does resemble a bird, closer look at the handle shows it to be more of a "demonic" figurine. Its wide eyes and long beak have a kingfisher's resemblance, but the teeth, fangs and beard which are carved in full details, shows otherwise.
The top sheath is made from well selected woods and is finely carved at the front and bottom stem having a brass ferrule to complete fittings.
Long and very sturdy blade with 7 waves or luks and very well executed base features or perabots, having a prominent triangular spine or "tulang" in Malay, with an overall shape or dapor called pandai saras in Malay.
Pamor patterns are in the arrangements are of the miring technique called lawe saukel or untwining thread.
Blade: 16” Overall: 22”.
