Curious about windsurfing? Göteborg Windsurfing Club is inviting women to a free try-out day in Fiskebäck, where beginners can experience the sport in a fun and welcoming environment.

No previous experience is needed, but participants should be able to swim. The club provides equipment and wetsuits, and those who have their own wetsuit or water shoes are welcome to bring them. After the session, everyone is invited to stay for coffee and fika.

Two sessions are available:

Ahead of the full Fortress of Metal Festival this autumn, Gothenburg is getting a taste of what’s to come with a heavy weekend at Danhagen Live.
On June 12, Finnish metal bands Bloody Hell and Ratbreed take over the stage for the official afterparty of The Night Flight Orchestra.

The metal continues on June 13 as Scarblade, Disharmonium, and Battering Ram deliver an evening of powerful live performances.

A perfect chance to support the local live music scene and get warmed up for the full Fortress of Metal experience this autumn. 🔥🎸

Get ready for takeoff as The Night Flight Orchestra ( ) lands in Gothenburg for an exclusive one-night-only summer show at Monument. Featuring members known from bands like Soilwork and Arch Enemy, the group delivers a high-energy blend of classic rock and irresistible AOR anthems.

Joining the lineup is Donna Cannone ( ), a rock-pop-punk powerhouse formed by musicians from Thundermother, Soilwork, and Cowboy Prostitutes. With a celebrated debut album, major festival appearances, and new music on the way, they’re bringing plenty of explosive energy to the stage.

Opening the night is DÄN HÄGEN ( ), Sweden’s new hard rock supergroup featuring members from Evergrey, HammerFall, Dream Evil, and S.O.R.M. Inspired by the sound of the ‘80s and ‘90s, the band promises powerful riffs, melodic vocals, and a nostalgic rock atmosphere.

Step into the spotlight and enjoy a unique musical experience where you’re invited to sing alongside a live pianist. Whether you have a favorite classic or want to try something completely new, all genres are welcome—the stage is yours!
