Dear Nonfiction Society friends and family,

We have lost our cousin, Mohammed Magid Ali Zarrouq among the martyrs that were shot in yesterday's demonstrations.

We apologize for not being able to continue with our NYE 2022 Exclusive Tropical Affair due to both our personal grief and the public state the country is going through after yesterday's tragic events.

These type of atrocities have been happening for a while now, and life has been going on parallel to that, yet in the past few days there is a clear and rapid upsurge; hence it didn't make sense to us to continue with our event while there are ongoing and aligned calls for blood donations.

Your booking payments will be fully refunded within the coming 24 hours.

We pray that not so far from today, we organize an event celebrating a better and a free Sudan.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice.

We hope you understand.
