Fig Trees and Stillness at
Invited by Filipe, a remarkable host, we spent a few summer days in 2024 settled into one of the estate’s houses. Surrounded by fig trees, we gradually uncovered the quiet potential of the place. There was a rare sense of stillness, a feeling of home that held us and allowed us to create within a kind of privileged bubble, slow, intentional, and touched by a hint of wine!

Branching as Structure
A few days ago, when Spring light arrived at our studio, we explored the natural architecture of Hawthorn branches, reclaimed from a wild pruning. By observing their organic lines and rhythms, we worked with movement, balance, and negative space as guiding elements.
Paired with ceramic pieces, the compositions revealed a dialogue between raw nature and crafted form, highlighting how simplicity and structure can shape expressive floral design.
