Last Sunday post before Christmas 🎄
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ethereal vineyard winter landscape in the Douro Valley for our 2nd edition of our table setting workshop in collaboration with Brancoprata a few weeks ago!
A love for holiday decorating brought us to the Six Senses Douro Valley, showcasing our tablescaping delights and floral decorations for their special guests.
Sumptuous red vintage Portuguese silk damask was our first of four table settings shown here alongside moss green velvets, a selection of our pomegranate handmade Christmas candles and toile napkins from one of our favourite fabric designers, Manuel Canovas.
Sofia brought in exotic orchids which paired with green grapes, offset perfectly the Ginori plates and vintage cutlery which set the scene with colour and texture.
Special thanks for hosting us all we had a wonderful stay and have to say that the winter landscape was simply stunning 🍁♥️🍂

An afternoon of tablescaping indulgence, hosted in the inimitable luxurious Estoril Vintage Hotel!
Our capsule collection of table linens in maximalist patterns and velvet trims, evoking a winter-like feel and a sense of romantic wonder.

We love to work alongside floral designer Sofia from Brancoprata, whose florals we say have a special kind of harmony and emotional charge. Delicate whimsical touches in forest green and burgundy ink with live Calligraphy by Telmo, all expertly photographed by Andre, Brancoprata.

The content was of course and the tableware a mix of mainly , our own antique collection and Leitao & irmão. Drinks were had. 🍸

Thank you to our hosts and to everyone involved for making this a truly special afternoon.

June, a favourite month for us here, where the purple jacaranda trees blossom in Lisbon and summer starts showing its butter yellow tones.

It’s been a while, because we’ve been bananas here!
What better, then this tropical flashback of our Madeira Island destination wedding, held in two spectacular venues, one of which a Belmond property.

From when the moment the couple rocked up to their welcome dinner in the Fort,in a butter yellow Rolls to the belle époque reception dinner and late night party. Fun was had, as well as a lot of tropical fruit 🌴💛🍍

Fun was most definitely had!
Welcome dinner preparations and outdoor dining under the stars, at the prettiest of Portuguese countryside venues. Custom aquamarine toile linen land matching lampshades (of course) plus many more thoughtful details throughout this destination wedding weekend 💛

Puglia post!
Our scouting and really indulgent grastronomic tasting trip for an upcoming summer three-day birthday party has left us spellbound!
Medieval butter yellow buildings, just the right soft-ambient glow in the venue, old-soul fabrics and elegantly blended colourful hues.
Special thanks to the delightful Chiara (a personal favourite name of mine) from the Masseria for all her hospitality and help. I also got to practice my Italian, always a nostaligc moment for me 🌙

Centuries-old Portuguese heritage in the form of resplendent Azulejos.

These elegant antique tiles can be found in the Palaces we use, Churches and any nook and cranny which needs an accent of detail.
They serve as an excellent backdrop for that old world charm look we so adore!

Still not spring, so here’s some indulgence in the form of an autumn wedding dinner.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A lover of decorative art and design Jasmine styled her table mixing beautiful porcelain, vintage solid silverware, swaths of lilac linen, French toile napkins and countless candles.
Menus were letter pressed and hand painted, weaving in a personal whimsical story and the florals infused sense of vintage nostalgia. Chairs were painted green, well because you know that lilac and green is a dream!
