It’s always refreshing to witness couples who feel shaping their day themselves — supported by family and friends who truly make it their own.

This celebration was exactly that: a collective effort full of kindness and good humour, from friends happily carrying chairs from ceremony to dinner, to a shared vision for the decor and overall vibe — and us brought in to do the flowers.

The only thing that wasn’t very Sintra-like about this wedding was the heat — one of the hottest days of the year, cooled by the shade of the large tree of the Camélia Gardens terrace.

Everything else was pure Sintra: beautiful grounds, sweeping views, a house full of character,
and of course, a wizard marrying the couple —
with the Sintra hills providing the most stunning backdrop.
