The Great Himalayan Trail: Full Traverse Prep is ON!
I’ve been waiting a long time to say this: I’m hitting the reset button on life. And I mean, truly starting over! After years of searching and change, I’ve finally found my safe harbor—my new home in magical Finland 🇫🇮. The silence, the lakes, and the famously rugged nature here give me the peace and focus I need.
My connection to the North runs deep. Before the two-month solo backpacking trip across Lapland in 2021 (a magical experience that the pandemic almost cancelled!), there was the epic one-month Scandinavian Traverse. I hitchhiked and walked nearly 5,000 km from Norway’s Nordkapp all the way down through Sweden to Ystad. Those journeys taught me the most crucial lesson: Never give up and always strive for your goal, no matter the adversity.
Now, I’m channeling this renewed energy into the biggest challenge of my life. I am officially starting intensive preparations for the FULL Great Himalayan Trail (GHT) Traverse! 🏔️
This is not just the Nepal section; this is the dream of crossing the entire Himalayan range—thousands of kilometers through multiple countries, over the highest passes on earth. It will be the ultimate test of body and spirit, verifying every ounce of experience I’ve gained.
From training in the Finnish taiga to the peaks of South Asia—this is my path forward. I truly feel like I’ve been given a second chance at a life full of adventure.
Wish me luck! I’ll be documenting both the tough Finnish prep (mental and physical training) and the epic journey itself. New chapter, new energy, the same massive dreams!

Czas znowu ruszyć w drogę.

Ale tym razem trochę dalej niż zwykle. I trochę wyżej.

Po długim czasie testów, włóczenia się, przemyśleń i szukania granic – zapadała decyzja:

Planuję samotną wyprawę przez Great Himalayan Trail.

4500 kilometrów przez Himalaje – Pakistan, Indie, Nepal, Bhutan.

Po co? Bo mnie to woła. Bo chcę sprawdzić siebie. Bo im trudniej, tym ciekawiej.

Będę dokumentować całą drogę – od przygotowań, przez pakowanie, po samo przejście.

Jeśli kiedyś zastanawiałeś/-aś się, jak się pakuje życie do jednego plecaka i idzie w nieznane – zapraszam. Będzie brudno, prawdziwie i trochę śmiesznie. 🎥
