ليکڪ شاھزيب ٻگھيو
ھڪ جي سزا ٻئي کي ڇو
ھر دور ۾ ھڪڙي شي غلط ٿيندي رھي آھي پر ان کي اڪثر صحيح تصور ڪيو ويندو آھي ۽ اھا شي آھي ھڪ جي سزا ٻئي کي ڏني ويندي آھي مثال جي طور اگر ڪنهن ھڪ خون ڪيو آھي ته سز سموري خاندان کي ملندي آھي پو قانوني ھجي يا برادري جي پر ملندي سڀني کي آھي پر آخر اھيو ڇو آھي جڏهن قصور ڪنهن ھڪ جو آھي ته سزا به ڪنهن ھڪ کي ملي نه جنهن اھيو خون ڪيو يا جنهن برو عمل ڪيو ھجي پر ائين ناھي جڏهن سماج ۾ ان شي تي نظر وجھجي ٿي ته سڀ ان ڳالھ کي صحيح سمجھن ٿا پر ٿورو سوچڻ گھرجي جيڪو انسان ڪنهن سان غلط ڪري ٿو يا غلط ڪري چڪو آھي يا غلط ڪندو ته ڇا ان کي ڪوئي ٻيو ڪو عمل ڪرائي سگھندو آھي ڇا ائين ڪڏهن به نٿو ٿي سگھي ڇو ته ھر انسان وٽ عقل آھي ھر انسان شعور نٿو رکي پر ھر ڪنهن وٽ سمجھ ته آھي ته صحيح ڇا آھي غلط ڇا ڪجھ وقت کان جيڪڏهن ڏسجي ته معلوم ٿيندو ته سنڌ اندر اھڙا ڪيترائي مسئلا آھن جنهن جي نقصان جو سبب ھڪ جي سزا ٻئي کي ملڻ آھي اگر اتر جي طرف نظر وجھون ته جتوئي مھرن جي جھيڙي ۾ ڪيترائي معصون ۽ بي ڏوھي مارجي رھيا آھن ۽ وري سبزوئي چاچڙن جي جھيڙي جي ڳالھ ڪيون ته اھو به ائين ٿي رھيو آھي وري ٻگھين جي پاڻ ۾ جھيڙي جي ڳالھ ڪيون ته اتي به ائين ٿيو آھي ڪجھ ڏينهن اول جي ڳالھ آھي ته ھڪ ڳوٺ مورو جي قريب آھي جيڪو ماڙي ٻگھيو ڳوٺ ملو اسماعيل ٻگھيو جي ڳوٺ جي نالي سان مشھور آھي جتي قتل ڪرڻ جي ڪري ھڪ ڳوٺ جي عورتن کي پامال ڪري گھران کنيو ويو جنهن ۾ ھڪ عورت پيٽ سان پڻ ھئي پر افسوس قانون ۽ سماجي وڏيرن کي ڪير سمجھائي ته خون ٿيڻ جو ڪارڻ پنهنجي بچا ڪرڻ جو سبب ھو ۽ بچا ڪرڻ ڪو ڏوھ ته ناھي جيڪڏهن ڪير ڪنهن تي حملو ڪري ٿو ته ۽ جان مال کي نقصان رسائڻ جي ڪندو ته ضرور اھو انسان پنهنجي تحفظ خاطر وڙھندو ۽ اگر پنهنجي بچائڻ خاطر ڪو دشمن کي ڌڪ ھڻي ته اھيو قانون جي نظر ۾ ڏوھ ته ناھي ھوندو شايد پر خير ڏوھ به ڀلي مڃجي پر سزا ۾ پيٽ سان عورت کي گھلي جيل ڪرڻ جي اجازت قانون ۽ سماج کي ڪنهن ڏني آھي ڏوھ جا ڏوھاري مرد ھجن گھلجي ڪمزور عورت کي سموري گھر کي اھيو ڪھڙو قانون آھي ڳالھ اڃا اتي ختم ناھي ھڪ ڪنوار جيڪا رڪستي ڪري پنهنجي مڙس جي گھر وڃي رھي ھجي ۽ اچانڪ ان جي مڙس تي خون جو ڪيس ڪيو وڃي ته ان عورت کي سڄي زندگي اڀاڳي ھجڻ ڪو لقب ڏنو ويندو آھي ان عورت جي زندگي خراب ڪرڻ وارن کي ڪير سزا ڏيندو يا ھن جي مٿي

Sindh’s Pseudo “Progressives” and the Illusion of Change

This is a reality check for those in Sindh who call themselves liberals, activists, writers, intellectuals, journalists, civil society actors, reformists and content creators, but who are, in truth, beneficiaries of the system. They tirelessly manufacture the illusion that “things are improving,” recycling propaganda for decades while sidestepping the real questions. For years, they have been asking what political options exist in Sindh today besides the PPP. They claim that nationalists have become sellouts, that leftists are confined to study circles, and that the PPP, a Sindhi party, has positioned itself as both protector and negotiator for Sindhis with the state. It wields the “Sindh card” and progressive fronts to advance paid agendas among the masses, enjoying full access to state resources.. Yet their narrative building and propaganda have failed decisively. The patronage, resources and opportunism once leveraged for personal gain are crumbling at the grassroots, exposing a system built on exploitation and illusion. Even trillions of rupees in public resources cannot mask the fragility of this political machinery. Across Sindh, the reality on the ground tells a different story:

- Badin: A sit-in has continued for five days demanding justice for Kailash Kolhi, brutally murdered by a feudal landlord for building a makeshift hut. The accused remains free. [Class oppression, entrenched feudal-police nexus, political patronage, impunity, systemic lawlessness]
- Dadu: Activist Nadir Jamali allegedly died from gunshot injuries while in police custody. No meaningful investigation has been launched. [State violence, police-feudal-political nexus, abuse of power, impunity]
- Naushehro Feroze: Ganwa Jalbani faces harassment and threats for refusing a forced marriage; her brother was shot, and the police have taken no action, forcing her to publicly plead for protection. [Gender oppression, patriarchy, women’s rights violations, political patronage, systemic violence]
- Thar: Illegal deer hunting continues openly under ministerial and feudal protection. [Environmental injustice, feudal-ministerial nexus, absence of enforcement, systemic lawlessness]
- Karoonjhar: Local protectors of Sindh’s living heritage have been protesting for over four weeks against illegal granite mining. [Environmental injustice, resource exploitation, climate vulnerability, capitalist extractivism, state-corporate collusion]

These are only the reported cases. Countless others go unrecorded, unnoticed, and unpublicized. Most districts of Sindh operate under the same thumb rule. Silencing these realities does not erase the lived suffering of the majority. Corruption and power abuse are visible, widespread and systematic. Patronage, impunity and feudal power operate through the Sindh government and PPP’s entrenched political machinery. Many liberals, journalists and activists choose comfort over confrontation, personal privilege over societal change and safe criticism over genuine accountability. Real change begins with naming those who wield power, exposing their networks and building a political narrative that the masses can see and act upon. Lasting change requires permanent political solutions, anything less is not activism; it is survival within a corrupt and entrenched system.

The illusion of progress has failed. Sindh’s pseudo-progressives must now choose: continue shielding the system and their masters, acknowledge their mistakes and change course, stand with the people, or fade into the obscurity of history.
