A heartfelt evening at Makati Shangri-La, Manila with the Philippine Association of Wedding Planners! It felt like coming home as we stepped back into the elegant spaces that hosted many of our early weddings back in the 2000s. The warm hospitality of Shangri-la, the thread of thoughts from serious business talks to some very funny chitchats with Shangri-la Makati’s GM - Jonathan Reynolds, Director of Sales and Marketing- Liezl Adraneda, and Events Manager- Rechelle Ichingl made our intimate dinner at the private room of Sage very memorable and special. After dinner, we enjoyed an exclusive tour of the newly renovated Specialty Suite and Presidential Suite of the hotel, showcasing the luxurious elegance that has always defined Shangri-La.

To cap off the night, we gathered for a festive photo op in front of the stunning Christmas tree installation in the lobby, bringing back cherished memories and wishing for many new ones, this night marking new beginnings at Shangri-la Makati. Here’s to reminiscing the past and building new memories together again!

The Philippine Association of Wedding Planners (PAWP) was delighted to participate in the annual tree lighting ceremony at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay, a cherished holiday tradition that this year also celebrated the hotel's 85th anniversary. Last night's event (November 23) offered PAWP a unique opportunity to connect with the community amidst the stunning festive atmosphere.

Guests were treated to a breathtaking display of twinkling lights, creating a beautiful atmosphere against the backdrop of the iconic Taal Volcano. The event underscored the hotel's enduring legacy and its role as a landmark in Tagaytay.

The meticulously crafted menu featured the dessert called “chocolate eruption” highlighting local ingredients. The elegant ambiance, coupled with impeccable service, provided a sophisticated setting for guests to celebrate this momentous occasion. Thank you to the management of Taal Vista Hotel Ms. Brenda S. Cabuyao, Director of Operations, Janet A. Bayot, Sr. Events Manager, Ms. Rheegie M. Banda, Director of Sales and Marketing and Jayme Natividad, Executive Chef for inviting us.

Big thanks to Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria for hosting us with their amazing unli dim sum lunch at Xin Tian Di Restaurant and for showing us their beautifully renovated rooms at Crown Plaza and Holiday Inn & Suites Manila Galleria.
