𝗧𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀,
𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀,
𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲,

I trust this post finds you well. Exactly a week ago, I finally shifted my Sablay and officially obtained my degree of Master of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. It was never a facile journey; it was rather ferocious yet another story to tell.

Since furthering studies is of paramount importance for someone like me who is both an educator and a communication practitioner, I entered my dream school in 2020 as a regular student (fortunately). Tbh, it felt like I was peeling off every layer of my inhibition toward improving my repertoire.

As an event host, I knew I had to step on every stage not half-baked but fully developed. And so I did. Some of the major and cognate courses I took were those I know would practically elevate my passion, skills, and love for speech communication and rhetoric, corporate communication, and development communication. Sure, the time I took made me adept at what I do—perhaps.

But my five-year academic toil was nothing short of dreadful, taxing both financially and emotionally, and yes, victorious. Instead of day off after schoolworks as an educator and student, my rest days would mean waking up early on a weekend to prepare for an event hosting. Sometimes, two events on a Saturday and another one the next morning. But, just so you know, the trust you got for my hosting repertoire was incredibly substantial as I was toiling.

You actually funded my tuition fees.
You paid for my transportation expenses.
You fed my stomach and soul.
You secured my initial savings when I was funding my thesis and docu film.
You made sure the financial dread toward my graduation was sufficed.

Yes, you were one of the many people I was so excited to share my gratitude with right after I got my diploma from our university chancy. Because. You. Are. Part. Of. My. Graduation. You were instrumental in my own story of persistence.

To all of you, ladies and gentlemen, thank you.

Ma'am Amy Bitoon's 60th birthday did not just serve as a celebration of strong and healthy life. Her story also reminded her people that she has always been a good friend, sister, mother, and wife. It was indeed a reunion of all good people on a weekday!

Thank you big time for this opportunity, Ma'am Amy! It was a pleasure to have met your successful and humble Bitoon Family.

S as in "𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆" that connects to Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, and of course, Manila. We didn't just label it that way. We worked hard to get it. We made sure that our storytelling befits the brand our people demand.

Yes, we got a lot of "S" — stories that connect to the region and the city.

Keep safe and let's also watch over and pray for our neighbors during these trying times.

THIS IS OUR STORY

Has lived for more than a decade in Lumban, Laguna, his never-forget hometown, where he has started fathoming the realities of life and of the society, he now lives in Lucena City where he usually builds himself. He is grounded with the core values his parents have instilled in him. This man, despite being the youngest in the family, never used this as a prerequisite to settle for less.

Through various experiences in life—from childhood days up to present—he has been equipped in sharing and collating stories to tell. Voice. Words. Influence. These have been the great elements that put him in the core of public speaking since high school. From crafting speeches as an orator and impromptu speaker, he has immensely inculcated in mind that every human, every single thing, every phenomenon is and has a story to tell.

And all this has led him to build a brand – This is Jade Oraa, Your Host. In 2016, upon his career shift from a corporate space to a hustling government work, he started to manage and juggle his workloads as a full-time government employee and a freelance event host (up until today). For four years, he has met a lot of people wrought with so many to-tell stories during events. During the first quarters of his hosting career, wedding reception ceremonies and debut celebrations were the usual events for him.

At present, he is a faculty of a private university in Lucena City and various event opportunities already have opened for him after his another career shift in 2018. He has grown as a holistic event host of wedding reception ceremonies, debut and birthday celebrations, parties, corporate events, pageants, school activities, and special events such as miting de avance, political campaigns, government-related activities and festivals. However, Jade deeply wonders on what is in store for him as a human being and an event host – one reason why he keeps on learning and improving himself.

This is Jade Oraa, Your Host provides its clients two sets of professional service.

· The professional fee includes the following: o Client’s Profile for a worth-articulating story o Event Programme – should there be any changes based on the preference of the client/s o Countless consultations about the programme and the event o One-day sit-down meeting with the client/s o Games that are appropriate with the events and the branding of Your Host (prizes not included)

· Other non-tangibles are as follows: o Your Host is a professional event host for years. Thus, your event will sound professional. o Your Host values times so well, his clients and his guests. o Your Host is also flexible as to the needs of the event type. Though, still professional.
