Today marks Daddy’s 40th day of peaceful rest. As we continue to honor his life, our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who has been with us since the beginning of this journey.

To all our family, relatives, friends, and loved ones who visited and prayed with us. Your presence truly helped lighten our grief and reminded us how deeply Daddy was loved.

We find comfort knowing that he is now in God’s eternal embrace, watching over all of us.

Please continue to include our family in your prayers as we move forward with faith and healing.

Words cannot adequately express our appreciation for everyone who joined us to celebrate the life of Daddy, Hernando B. Banta, and lay him to rest. Thank you for every card, every flower, every shared memory, and every gesture of support.

We especially want to thank our amazing Daddy. Thank you for the life, love, and devotion you have given us. Your memory is a treasure we will always hold.

Daddy lived a full life, marked by many experiences and lessons. As Frank Sinatra put it, reflecting on a life:

"I've traveled each and every highway; And more, much more than this, I did it my way."

With all our love, we say not goodbye, but see you soon.
