One year ago, we started this business ( M&M’s Creations ) with one motorcycle, pure courage, and a dream that honestly felt too big for us. ✨
No studio.
No big capital.
No complete equipment.
Just two people trying to survive while slowly building something they hoped would change their lives someday.
I still remember our first bookings. We only charged ₱1,500 because we didn’t even know how to price our work properly yet. We were so scared to lose clients that we accepted almost everything.
And I’ll never forget our first event in Montalban. 🥹 We only had a motorcycle while carrying balloons, backdrops, and styling materials all at the same time. The road was full of trucks and sharp curves. We were overloaded, struggling to balance everything, but we kept going because we didn’t want to lose the opportunity.
Hindi namin alam kung matatawa ba kami o maiiyak sa pagod at hirap, pero tuloy pa rin kasi ayaw naming sayangin yung chance na may naniwala samin.
We created our page with hope in our hearts. We posted every setup proudly, even if only a few people reacted. We accepted clients na kahit magkano nalang ang ibayad nila okay lang samin, we also offered free transportation because we were afraid people wouldn’t book us again if we charged too much.
People saw the beautiful setups.
What they didn’t see was everything happening behind them.
There were nights we questioned ourselves.
There were days we wanted to give up.
There were moments we cried silently because we were tired, broke, and unsure if this dream would ever work.
But little by little, the right people came.
Small clients became regular clients.
Simple setups became big events.
Inquiries became bookings.
Bookings became blessings.
Then eventually, because of this business, we were finally able to buy our first car — a secondhand Ford Escape. And at that time, it already felt like we made it. But reality humbled us quickly too. Because it was secondhand, every event came with stress and uncertainty. There were nights after events when the car would suddenly overheat on the way home. Imagine finishing a long setup completely drained, then suddenly dealing with a broken car in the middle of the road.
There were moments we would just sit there quietly, exhausted, wondering why every achievement seemed to come with another challenge.
But we kept going anyway.
Every event taught us something.
Every breakdown made us stronger.
Every struggle reminded us why we started.
And now, exactly one year later, the same business that once started with one overloaded motorcycle helped us get approved for a brand new Mitsubishi Xpander 2026. 🚗🤍
Sometimes it still feels unreal.
From carrying event props on a motorcycle and constantly asking, “kasya pa ba sa motor?” 🏍️
To planning like, “anong theme ng next event?” ✨ And now, “kasya ‘to sa sasakyan, and hindi na tayo mao-overheat dahil bago na ang sasakyan.” 🤍
From accepting whatever amount clients could give…
To finally learning our value.
From hoping someone would notice our work…
To getting fully booked weekends.
This business didn’t just give us income.
It gave us growth.
It gave us lessons.
It gave us proof that small beginnings can turn into something beautiful.
And honestly, the best feeling is knowing we built everything from scratch.
No shortcuts. No overnight success. Just consistency, sacrifice, and showing up even on the hardest days.
Happy 1st anniversary to our little business. 🥹✨
To everyone who trusted us, supported us, shared our work, recommended us, and believed in us from the very beginning — thank you for becoming part of our journey.
From motorcycle days to milestone days.
Year 1 — and we’re only getting started. 🤍
