“I GOT YOU.”
This is the phrase I live by as an event host.
I can guarantee na hindi lang “hosting” ang ginagawa ko.
Before the actual event, I coordinate with suppliers, making sure na aligned ang lahat sa flow ng program—from lights and sounds down to catering.
During the event, I make sure that everyone is engaged and that their attention is directed toward the program and the celebrator—not me.
I study the guests: their age range, their personalities, and kung anong appropriate na humor and ex*****on for every segment of the program.
This is actually the main reason kung bakit puro pictures lang ang madalas kong napo-post, and why I seldom post videos.
Once I’m at the venue, I’m completely zoned in and hyperfocused on the event. Halos wala na akong time to take pictures or videos.
Mas focus ako sa event at sa bawat nangyayari, because in live events, one wrong move can be difficult to undo.
That’s what “I GOT YOU” means to me.
It means I’m not just there to hold the microphone.
I’m there to make sure your event is taken care of.
