From 15 to 5!

The core subjects have been restructured by integrating key competencies from related disciplines, reducing the original 15 core subjects to just 5. These core subjects will now be offered across the entire academic year, allowing for a more sustained and in-depth engagement with the content. The revised core curriculum adopts an integrative approach, emphasizing the interconnectedness of ideas and fostering interdisciplinary learning, rather than treating each subject in isolation.

From the original 4 Tracks, now, 2 tracks - Academic and Technical Professional (TechPro).

As part of the SHS curriculum refinement, the number of required subjects has been significantly reduced through the streamlining of core subjects, academic electives, and technical-professional (TechPro) electives.

👍 ACADEMIC. Focuses on college preparation, replacing traditional strands (STEM, ABM, HUMSS, GAS) with flexible elective clusters. Students can choose electives in Arts and Social Sciences, Business and Entrepreneurship, STEM, and Sports, Health, and Wellness.

❤ TECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL (TECHPRO). Formerly the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track, this path is designed for industry preparedness and entrepreneurship.

“🎶 Minsan tayo ay naging tunay na magkaibigan… 🎶

Sa loob ng Home Economics – House of Denmark, hindi lang tayo natutong magluto at mag-aral - natuto rin tayong bumuo ng mga alaala na habang buhay nating dadalhin.

Minsan nagkakahiyaan, minsan nagkakakulitan, at minsan nagkakaasaran… pero sa huli, kayo pa rin ang magkakasama.

Sa inyong paglisan, sana may aral kayong natutunan sa loob at labas ng ating pagsasama habang kayo ay nasa HODventure natin sa HOD.

Hindi man sigurado kung saan tayo dadalhin ng panahon, sigurado akong may babalikan akong mga taong naging bahagi ng isang napakagandang “minsan.”

Pasensya at maraming salamat sa lahat ng tawanan at iyakan sa likod ng pagkapanalo at pagkatuto.
