Thirty something guests. One very special birthday girl. And a room filled with people who truly matter. 🤍

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of hosting Chat’s 50th birthday.

It was the kind of celebration where you could really feel the closeness of everyone in the room. No huge crowd, no complicated program, just good conversations, laughter, and the people Chat chose to celebrate this milestone with.

Happy 50th, Chatt! Thank you for letting me be part of your intimate celebration. I hope the evening was everything you wanted it to be.

And to Host Fruits Peladra, maraming salamat for sharing this event with me. I truly appreciate the trust and the opportunity to be part of another celebration.

A Sunday well spent celebrating Baby Anaiah. 🤍

Yesterday, I got to host the intimate christening of Baby Anaiah Enorie, with family and loved ones coming together for this very special milestone.

I always enjoy christenings like this because the program feels more relaxed and personal. There’s plenty of time for the family to enjoy each other, share a few laughs, and simply celebrate the little one at the center of it all.

Mommy Euwenafe and Daddy AngeloEr, thank you for having me as part of Anaiah’s christening. I truly enjoyed spending the day with your family and helping make the celebration a fun one.

It’s always a little surreal when someone you once taught is suddenly standing in front of you as a debutant. 🥹

Last night, I got to celebrate Mednoni Cabading, or as everyone knows her, Buchik, on her 18th birthday.

Buchik became my student in 2024 through online public speaking coaching. I remember seeing the potential in her even then. She was talented, eager to learn, and clearly someone who wanted to do more and become better.

I also had the privilege of teaching Ate Armee the year before, in 2023. So finally meeting both sisters in person and seeing how they’ve grown was such a nice experience for me.

And now, Buchik has her own milestone to celebrate.

Buchik, you were absolutely beautiful last night! Seriously, ang ganda mo! 😍 And yes, Ate Armee, you’re beautiful too! Haha!

More than anything, I’m happy I got to see the young woman behind the student I once coached. Keep believing in yourself, keep learning, and keep going after the things you want. You have so much ahead of you.

Thank you to Buchik, Mom and Dad, and Ninang Donna for welcoming me into this celebration. And to Mednoni Cabading, thank you for making me part of your 18th birthday. It was such a joy to see you again and to be your host this time.

They logged in to survive a zombie apocalypse. They ended up finding each other. 🎮🤍

Dan and Marielle met in 2021 through Dead Frontier 2, an online survival game that became one of their ways of getting through the pandemic.

Dan created a public room. Marielle joined. A conversation started.

Neither of them probably expected that a random encounter between two usernames would eventually lead to this.

Last night, there were no screens and no avatars. Just Dan and Marielle, surrounded by family and friends, celebrating their first evening as Mr. and Mrs. Longcop.

And knowing how their story started made hosting their reception even more fun for me.

Dan and Marielle, thank you for letting me share your story and be part of this chapter. From surviving zombies together online to building an actual life together, I’d say you two found the best teammate possible. Congratulations! 🎮🥂
