What a fairy tale evening it was to be the official emcee/host of the Mythological/Fantasy-Themed Debut of the lovely Ms. Katherine Reyes, daughter of my gracious client Ms. Malou Yu. 💖 Thank you so much, Ma’am Malou and her loving family, for trusting me to be part of such a milestone celebration!

I was in awe of the creativity and love poured into every detail of the event—from the enchanting theme to the presence of dear friends and guests from Makati Christian Hope School and even special guest vlogger Ms. Jelai Andres. 🌹📸

One of the most touching moments for me was receiving this beautiful on-the-spot portrait from Rosa, incredibly talented live painters/artists who captured the magic of the evening in strokes and colors. 🎨💫

About Events Host MNL

Hi ! I’m Apple :) (others call me Thery, which is my other moniker/nickname since high school which is short for Therese). Again my name is Apple (my nickname since I was inside my mother’s belly, my real nickname in our family and among my clan or relatives both in my mom and dad’s side). I am Apple of Events Host MNL. I started this sideline as an events/party host back in 2015 up to now.

Initially I was a freelance events disc-jockey for CADIO Advertising in the year 2006 (I was still 18 y/o in 2nd year college already). My first gig was to be an events dj for a Mcdonald’s Kamuning event around Dec. of 2006. Then during school events like University week or the college Intrams I did events disc-jockey jobs then inside the campus, radio hosting or campus broadcasting and playing requested playlists or music back then with the CDs that we had then (haha cds).

I graduated with a degree in AB Mass Communications, batch 2009. Prior to that as a senior in college, I was able to have my articles/write-ups get published in the Career section and the Lifestyle section of The Manila Bulletin juggling my duties as well as a campus journalist, Literary Editor of The Perpetualite (2008-2009) and as a Senior Artist as well. I was busy doing write-ups, articles, and journalism stuff back in my college days.

After graduation, I worked these jobs: call center agent, tutor, ESL/English teacher to Koreans and Japanese students, Editorial Assistant/Proofreader for a magazine, Graphic Artist, Sales/Marketing and P.R. officer + Press release & Content writing... but hosting/broadcasting has always been my dream

Summer of 2014, I worked as an FM Radio Disc-Jockey for The Edge Radio Strong South (now https://www.facebook.com/TheEdgeRadioLucena/, it’s the station manager and owner of the radio station who hired me) it was then based in my dad’s town in Candelaria, Quezon Province. So, the proximity of my work to my grandma’s house where we stayed then was really close and nearby. So, basically there I get to experience to be a radio newscaster/host... and also do sales/marketing work at the side.

But by before 2014 ended we needed to get back to the city that is why I went back to the call center industry. After a year, I missed doing hosting and I needed to have a sideline as a source of income on my own as well while my husband was doing full-time employment then... I pursued what I’ve always loved doing... hosting.

The first event that I hosted was a wedding and the rest, as you can say is history.

I also do freelance portrait and events photography at the side as well, and I’m planning to be a souvenir crafts/accs. supplier for parties/events and host craft parties too :) I also experienced singing for a debut lately this year. You can take a look in 1 of my videos in this page :)
