Lately, life has been a beautiful, chaotic whirlwind. If I’m being completely honest, there have been days recently where I felt like giving up. Our house help just left, and my schedule has been a crazy juggling act between being a mom of three, working as an analyst, and building my hosting career. But every single time I feel like throwing in the towel, it’s like God says, "Hold on, I have a different plan for you," and hands me a fresh reason to keep going.
I want to share this because social media often only shows the highlights. I’m not some untouchable, super-strong person who has it all figured out. I am vulnerable, I get tired, and I ride the same emotional roller coasters we all do during events. I truly believe I am just an honest person who tries to live an honest life, and for me, I guess that’s really the key to being blessed.
Looking back, I still can't believe how this all unfolded. Last December 2025, just two weeks after giving birth to my third baby via C-section, I was actually planning to start a baking business. But my partner planted a different seed in my head. He told me to pursue what I truly love. I’ve been hosting corporate events for over 5 years, but I never thought of making money from it until he encouraged me, and I am so incredibly thankful for his push.
From there, blessings just started pouring in. I only hosted once at a restaurant in QC, and they immediately started recommending me for other events. Even crazier, I had zero experience with weddings, yet four couples trusted me with their wedding receptions knowing exactly that fact. Some were even genuinely excited to have me despite my lack of experience.
Then came another huge challenge when FSL trusted me to host their golf tournament, despite my lack of experience with the sport. Since my boss at work plays golf, I really took the time to ask him all about the gameplay and scoring. I researched, I studied, and I put in the work. It all paid off when FSL’s leader told me that I hosted their event in a classy and great way. Fast forward to today, and I already have amazing feedback and repeat clients.
To every single client who has trusted me to be front and center on your special days, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your trust is what keeps me going on the days the juggling act gets tough.
And to anyone out there, especially fellow moms or aspiring hosts who might be feeling overwhelmed right now, please keep going. Trust the process, embrace your vulnerability, and know that God has a plan for you when you follow what you love.
