okay so. apparently I do BOTH weekends now?? asked for one shot at being background bard noise and they said "no actually we want you four days total" and I have never felt more caught off guard by good news in my life.
if one weekend of me narrating my disaster love life via moderately-crucified pop covers wasn't enough for you β CONGRATULATIONS, you get two. I'm currently adding a deeply unnecessary number of Dolly Parton songs to the setlist, because someone needs to bring Jolene* to a Renaissance faire, and it might as well be ME.
come watch The Glamour Bard do folk covers, one (1) original about a sword, and a genuinely alarming amount of storytelling, live and in costume:

Frankie Torres performs as The Glamour Bard: professional amateur, amateur comedian, and a woman who has more instruments than actual talent. Her sets are mostly an excuse to narrate her epic(??) misadventures, which read less like heroic fantasy and more like a slow-motion comedy of errors--because what self-respecting bard isn't, deep down, a walking disaster?
Expect pop standards lightly crucified on acoustic guitar, interspersed with original songs about completely unserious topics, all performed with the unwavering gravitas of a woman convinced she's reciting Homer.
