Welcome to the official page dedicated to the pageants and productions organized by Fit 2 be Tied Events! Mayor & Council Chairman Isidro Hemedes, Jr.

Stay connected for updates on our exciting event highlights and glamorous productions! .ph Lakan at Mutya ng Cabuyao are organized by the City Tourism & Cultural Affairs Council of Cabuyao, Laguna, headed by the Hon. These events are the highlights of the week long celebration of Cabuyao Day. The first Mutya ng Cabuyao was held in 2008. After the overwhelming success of the Mutya ng Cabuyao 2008, there was a clamor for the male counterpart production. Thus, Lakan ng Cabuyao was staged the succeeding year. Since then, these two have become the much awaited events at the town plaza every Cabuyao Day celebration. Schedule of Pageant Presentations:
January 13 - Lakan Talent Night
January 14- Mutya Talent Night
January 15 - Lakan Pageant|Coronation Night
January 16- Mutya Pageant|Coronation Night

Fit 2 be tied is the official production team of Lakan at Mutya ng Cabuyao. The team is headed by Managing Director Ces Perez-Ong, Lakan Pageant Director Peachy Alberto-Sta.Ana, Mutya Pageant Director Elrick Keith Gatbonton & Assistant Director Webster Moldez. It is a challenge to come up with fresh & creative concepts every year. Theme: Zodiac Symphony
BINIBINI: Western Zodiac Signs

Every candidate represented a specific zodiac sign, creating a production rich in character, symbolism, and visual identity.

LED strips and digital stage elements allowed each zodiac sign to come alive as candidates entered the stage.

What made this production memorable was the balance between tradition and technology—ancient symbols presented through modern staging techniques.

A perfect example of how pageant productions continue to evolve while remaining rooted in storytelling.

Each production challenged us to think bigger, dream bolder, and create experiences audiences would remember for years.

Because great pageants don't happen by chance. They happen through vision, collaboration, and a team willing to bring impossible ideas to life. ✨

Thank you to the LGUs, Tourism Councils, Directors, choreographers, creatives, technical teams,designers, hosts, dancers, prod staff,handlers and candidates who trusted us through the years.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, father figures, grandfathers, and papas who have been part of the most meaningful moments we’ve witnessed through the years.

The ones who walk their daughters down the aisle.
The ones who hold back tears during speeches.
The ones who proudly watch from the audience.
The ones who may say very little, but whose love is always felt.

#𝟐— 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐨

THEME: Live Your Life in Colors
ADVOCACY: Mental Health Awareness

Looking back, it almost felt prophetic.

This production happened just two months before the pandemic changed the world in March 2020 — as if it was quietly preparing us for something that would later affect not just our daily lives, but also our mental health.

It began in a world of black and white—dancers dressed in clown-inspired monochrome costumes performing to Mad World. The stage symbolized darkness, isolation, and emotional struggles.

Then came the candidates.

Dressed in vibrant pop-art-inspired costumes, they transformed the stage into a celebration of hope, self-expression, and positivity through Funkytown and Walking on Sunshine.

It became one of our most meaningful productions because it connected pageantry with an important social message—one that felt even more powerful when we looked back after everything that followed.

And for that, we remain grateful to every LGU, Tourism Council, Director, creative partner, technical team, choreographer, dancer, host, production staff, handler and candidate who became part of this journey.

#𝟑 — 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟒 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗨𝗧𝗬𝗔 𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗬𝗔𝗢

MUTYA THEME: Ancient Egypt

If pageants are about transporting audiences into another world, this production did exactly that.

The Mutya candidates brought the grandeur of Ancient Egypt to life—complete with pharaoh-inspired imagery, regal costumes, and a stage that felt like a journey through one of history's greatest civilizations.

What made this production truly unforgettable was the stage design. To this day, it remains one of the most fabulous and visually striking stages we have ever produced.

A special tribute goes to the artistic brilliance of Oliver Hain, whose ability to transform concepts into breathtaking realities consistently elevated every production. We are equally grateful to the Tourism Council and LGU leadership at the time for believing in bold ideas and supporting our vision from concept to ex*****on.

This production proved that pageants can be more than competitions—they can become immersive theatrical experiences.

Pageant opening numbers are never created "just because."

One thing many people don't realize is that our male and female pageants were rarely designed independently.

For every coronation, we carefully developed paired themes that complemented one another in story, scale, visuals, and audience experience. The goal was never simply to create a production number—it was to create an entire world.

Since 2007, we have been blessed to collaborate with Local Government Units, Tourism Councils, choreographers, creative teams, technical partners, choreographers, designers, handlers and hundreds of candidates who helped bring these ambitious productions to life.

As we celebrate nearly two decades of pageant production management, here are six sets of opening productions that remain unforgettable for us.

LAKAN THEME: Pop Culture & Entertainment- Anime Opening Prod
MUTYA THEME: Theatrical & Vintage Glam-Broadway x Las Vegas Opening Prod

Before LED walls became the norm, we introduced a panoramic back-projection screen as the centerpiece of the stage design—a first for the pageant.

The Mutya candidates transformed into glamorous Vegas showgirls, while the Lakan candidates brought iconic anime characters to life.

Creative direction was led by the overall director, Ces Perez Ong and incredibly talented Art Director-Oliver Hain, who consistently translated our concepts into exactly what we envisioned.

A bold production that proved imagination could go beyond available technology.
