🌙 Just completed our Halal 101 Training with fellow entrepreneurs from the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector — and we are beyond grateful for this opportunity to grow and serve more inclusively at Zuri’s Cafe & Bistro!

Here are some valuable things we learned during the training:

✅ What Halal truly means — not just in food, but in the entire process of production and service
✅ The requirements and steps to get Halal certified
✅ The importance of traceability, cleanliness, and ethical sourcing
✅ Proper labeling and handling of Halal-certified ingredients
✅ Understanding the Halal market and how it opens doors to wider local and international opportunities
✅ Cultural sensitivity and respecting the diverse needs of our customers
✅ The role of Halal certification in tourism and in positioning Ilocos Norte as a welcoming destination for all

We’re excited to soon offer Halal-certified Indian and Middle Eastern dishes that align with our vision of inclusive, quality, and heart-filled service.
