To be honest, itโs not just about having a nice voice or being confident on stage.
Before I ever hosted an event, I was in customer service. Then sales.
Thatโs where I learned how to talk to people, adjust to situations, and find the right words even when I was caught off guard.
Hosting came later.
But looking back, I realize... Iโve been preparing for this role long before I ever touched a mic.
Because being a host isnโt just about being seen, ๐ช๐ตโ๐ด ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด ๐ง๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ญ ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฏ.

๐ฅ๐๐ฑ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ โ Every event has surprises. Things shift. Programs change. You breathe through it and keep things moving.
๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐ญ โ This is a big one for me. Hosting, for me, is an act of service. Iโm not there to be the star. Iโm there to make sure others feel like stars.
๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ โ People connect with people. Not perfect lines, not polished delivery โ just real, sincere presence.
If youโre someone whoโs ever worked in customer service, sales, or any job where you had to keep calm, smile, and figure things out on the fly, youโve already got what it takes.
Every small experience adds up. Youโre learning even when you donโt realize it.
And one day, youโll look back and think, โAh, thatโs why I went through that.โ
