On Iloilo City [Charter Day] Dragon Boat Regatta, Aug. 23 - 24, 2024

Just because we are not LOUD does not mean this event is not legit.

Hopefully this will not be the reason for our club to be black listed in the dragon boat community.

Rest assured that this event is NOT organized by Private Event Organizing entity which aim is for profit and for personal gain. We may look into this deeper.

Maybe it is time to walk on our belief that every club has the right and is free to organize events such as this without Corporate bureaucracy and monopoly. Please drop us a message if we share the same thoughts on these.

This event is organized by the Iloilo Dragons which aim is to promote dragon boat sports from the grassroots especially to high school students. And we are banking on professional DB clubs like you to be an inspiration to them.

Iloilo Dragons is composed of members from diverse dragon boat and mountaineering backgrounds since 1996. SAFETY is our cup of tea and Fun, Fitness and Fellowship is our club motto.

But most of all we value RESPECT and ETIQUETTE -- as regards the present timeline and the dynamics as the event unfolds, you know where we stand.

For those groups who want to catch up and ride on, for those who are planning to organize the same event such as this on August 2024, despite the fact that we are the first to organize, despite the fact that this event has been publicly known last February 27, 2024, and despite the fact that official race bulletin has been published last June 1, by all means, you are so welcome to do so. This will be another opportunity for us to learn from a different kind of experience and perspective.

We wish you goodwill and goodluck. Kitakits mga abyan. Padayon lang. PEACE!

Fantillo, Principal IV, INHS and the DepEd Division of Iloilo with Dr. Ma. Fe L. Brillantes, Education Supervisor, Dr. Roel Bermejo, Schools Division Superintendent.

Through FREE photo lectures and workshops, this event has reached the awareness and exposure of the masses, especially those who cannot afford to attend photo workshops provided by private entities and other organizations.

Iloilo Photo Festival™ is in accordance with Everyone's Photography™ (EP) Non-formal arts education program in photography and filmmaking of the INHS School for the Arts, DepEd DivisionofIloilo.

This event is also in cooperation with the Province and City of Iloilo, Recreation and Camera Club of Iloilo (RACCI) and other photography clubs and organizations from all over the Philippines
