Our Grand Fête Story: How Our First Wedding Styling Began
Story time…
There’s something unforgettable about doing something for the very first time.
No matter how much you prepare, you’ll never really know what it feels like until you’re standing in that moment. It’s exciting, overwhelming, beautiful, and terrifying—all at once. Your first will never be perfect, but it will always be the one you’ll remember forever.
This event will always hold a special place in my heart—and in the hearts of our entire team.
We’ve been part of countless celebrations over the years, helping create memorable moments through Happy Booths. But deep inside, we carried another dream:
“One day, we’ll style our very first wedding.”
On July 31, that dream finally became a reality.
For weeks, our days turned into late nights filled with planning, client meetings, sourcing materials, practicing our styling techniques, and making sure every little detail would be worthy of our very first wedding.
There were so many moments of uncertainty.
There were nights when the team barely slept because we wanted everything to be perfect. We kept reminding ourselves that first impressions matter—and this was the beginning of something we’ve prayed for.
Then the wedding day arrived.
Walking into the venue, we felt every emotion imaginable—excitement, nervousness, fear, and hope.
We poured everything we had into styling the ceremony area, and in just a little over an hour, we transformed the space into exactly what we had envisioned.
Then…
The weather had other plans.
Rain poured unexpectedly, and everything we had carefully prepared suddenly changed.
Our original setup was no longer possible.
We had to move everything to a much bigger venue.
For a moment, it felt like all the planning and practice had disappeared.
We had to think quickly, adapt even faster, and trust each other completely.
That day reminded me of something important:
No amount of planning can prepare you for every challenge.
Sometimes, all you can do is give your best… and leave the rest to God.
I truly believe God sent Mr. and Mrs. Andia to us for a reason.
Out of all the places on the internet, they found us—not on Facebook, not on Instagram—but on Reddit. To this day, I still don’t know how that happened.
Maybe it wasn’t luck.
Maybe it was simply God’s perfect timing.
There was a season when I was overwhelmed.
I was anxious.
I questioned myself.
Looking back now, I’m so grateful I didn’t.
Because if I had, we would have never experienced this beautiful beginning.
By God’s grace, everything came together beautifully.
From the ceremony to the reception, the final result was everything we had hoped for—and more.
It honestly felt like watching a Pinterest board come to life.
To our very first styling clients, Mr. and Mrs. Andia, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for believing in a team that was just beginning.
Thank you for trusting us with one of the most important days of your lives.
You didn’t just book a styling service.
You became part of our story.
You will always be remembered as the couple who gave Grand Fête its very first opportunity.
To my amazing team…
This is only the beginning.
Thank you for your hard work, your sleepless nights, your resilience, your patience, and your belief in this dream—even when the road was uncertain.
Let’s continue learning.
Let’s continue creating.
Let’s remain humble.
Let’s keep trusting God’s timing.
Because this first event is more than just another project.
It is the first page of a story we hope to tell for many years to come.
July 31, 2026.
The day Grand Fête officially styled its very first wedding.
A milestone we’ll never forget.
This post is more than just sharing beautiful photos. It’s a record of where it all began. Years from now, when Grand Fête has styled hundreds of weddings, we’ll look back at this moment and remember the day we had our very first. Every milestone starts with one brave “yes.”
Here’s to many more beautiful celebrations, one event at a time.
