There's this one Bride na nagmessage sa akin...
And one of her biggest wedding regrets is not hiring an OTD Coordinator.
But before anything else, kung bago ka pa lang na nagpa-plano ng wedding, you might be wodering kung…
ANO BA YUNG OTD COORDINATOR?!?
OTD Coordinator means On the Day Coordinator. Ang role or trabaho nila happens on the day of the wedding.
Sila yung nag-e-execute ng wedding plans ng couple, and they monitor the timeline and all the other suppliers on the day of the wedding to make sure na nangyayari lahat as planned.
Sila yung nag-o-oversee ng wedding instead na si Bride. Usually around 10-30k ang bayad sa kanila (depende kasi yan sa inclusions and kung ilan sila sa team nila).
I know marami sa atin ang tingin sa coordinators ay dagdag gastos lang.
Isa na ako dun.
Honestly, nung nagstart kaming magplano ng wedding, coordinator yung last supplier na binook namin kasi nagdadalawang isip pa ‘ko na kumuha nito.
I was so confident na kaya namin mairaos yung wedding day na kami lang.
Naisip rin namin na dagdag gastos lang ito.
Akala ko minor lang ang role nila sa wedding, parang magbabayad ka pa ng 10-30k just for that?
But I was wrong...
After kong maikasal, I realized that coordinators can actually make or break your wedding.
Sila yung parang fairy godmother mo kasi kayang kaya nila kayong tulungan na maging smooth ang buong wedding flow ninyo, i-execute ang wedding plans na ginawa mo, and anticipate possible concerns earlier than you can imagine.
Kasi memorize na nila yan, palagi na silang nasa kasalan.
So, I hope pag-ipunan natin ang professional OTD Coordinators kasi they are usually underrated but worth it!
Sana this post would serve as a reminder para maiwasan ang any wedding regrets.
Like this bride who messaged me, happy siya na ikinasal siya…
Pero hindi niya masyadong na-enjoy ang mismong wedding day.
Kalungkot, ‘no?
I don’t want that to happen again to any bride…
