Today, EBM officially turns 8!
What started as a passion project in 2009, where meticulous wedding planning and mood boards were still not a thing, but for the love for my former students, I slowly transitioned from an active teaching career into a full-time mom who parties for a living.
So, in 2017 after my last teaching stint in Ho Chi Minh City, I came home, secured permits and formally registered Events by Marnille. From one event to the other, I learned and strengthened the trade through series of workshops and bridal fairs, established a client-focused business strategy, invested on solid partnership with local vendors, expanded my reach to international clients, and pushed myself against burn out, fatigue, and personal losses during and after the pandemic. I can literally say, “what an incredible journey!”
To my former clients doing the marketing for me when my page and social media were dead and empty, thank you. To my fellow suppliers who continuously show up and return the love and loyalty I give despite my shortcomings, thank you. To my new clients, for trusting me with their big day when they could easily go for more affordable options, thank you. To my team (husband included) for putting up with my crazies and high standards, thank you. And to the few people in my tribe, lowkey supporting me and checking on me whenever I become quiet and stay out of character, thank you.
I will keep on improving and moving with pure intentions; afterall, the universe has its way of aligning everything perfectly.✨ ~ Ms. Marnille
