Good morning everyone. CFP has been quiet lately but we still keep checking up on the cases we have helped. We have not been able to take on new cases because we are not getting any donations.
We are still trying to get our stray cat, Izzy ,the surgery she needs after being hit by a car but we simply do not have the funds to do that for her . Ellen Baird has been taking excellent care of her but Izzy still needs her surgery and we can not provide it for her yet.
Also, our sweet dog Hunter still has not been adopted. He is with Yarelys Florez as a foster and is being well cared for but he would thrive in a loving forever home .
Please consider adopting Hunter as your buddy, he is such a very sweet, loving dog.

As you all know... we rescued this lovely cat (now named Izzy) after she was hit by a car and left on the street. She’s been through so much, but with care and love, she’s come a long way. Now, she needs one more thing to fully recover—a surgery that will cost $690... So far we have raised around $170 but need that little extra.

We’ve done everything we can up to this point, but we can’t do this without your help. Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us closer to getting her the treatment she needs. 💔🐱

On top of that, she’s in need of a foster home where she can heal and become your forever friend. If you have room in your heart and home, please reach out.

Everyone’s been asking for an update on precious Coco 💝 she really has made quite a stir!

She was brought to our attention while living with a local family in Gorgona that we have worked together / helped with several of their 12 dogs. She was malnourished, with severe skin conditions, and a very swollen stomach to name just a few of her issues.

She has been back-and-forth to the vet with treatment and now being lovingly cared for by Ellen while she recovers and gets stronger. Regular food, medication and baths over the next few weeks are v important in her recovery. You can already see the huge difference in her before and after pictures 💫

But now we are in a difficult position… We have someone that would love to adopt coco but the family that we got her from want her back.
Sadly we feel they are not in a position financially or have the means to care for her to the level she requires.
So, we are looking at options / asking for advice if anyone has contacts or been through something similar & can help get Coco to a home where she can thrive.

We asked for help to take this baby to the vet and get her on her way to health…

AND… you delivered!

We are always in awe of how this community comes together to be the collective voice for these babies

👉🏻But we’re not close to being done!

🙌🏻We have raised enough to take this cutie to the vet and get her everything she needs and ensure we have enough for follow ups and what the vet visit may reveal

BUT…. We desperately need a foster. Returning her back to nowhere land is not an option. It just isn’t.

This baby found herself wandering and is staying on one of the Gorgona locals land.

We’ve lovingly named her COCO ❤️

She is a baby, malnourished and needs a voice

🐾 We want to take her to the vet and get her on a journey to health

We have exhausted our funds with emergency cases, surgeries, meds and ensuring the cases we receive are a YES

BUT we’re at a point where ‘No’ is being said

🐾 Last Saturdays emergency cases need follow-ups and additional medicines

And we will be posting a follow up on all 3 this weekend. They are healing and getting better
