It's time to clean up our act, if we want to leave our future intact
------------------------------------------------------
Having gained premier position as the Sultanate's most comprehensive environment- friendly exhibition, this year the Gulf Eco Expo 2013 will be held under the theme – "Clean Energy for Oman”, which will capture the opportunities for harnessing Oman’s renewable energy. The cou

ntry's potential in the field of solar energy is limitless, accompanied by possibilities of obtaining wind energy that can be used to produce electricity, particularly in the mountainous areas of the Dhofar region. Enterprises with expensive tastes breed liquid waste
------------------------------------------------------
Every country in the world is facing serious environmental challenges. Small and big enterprises produce between 100,000 and 300,000 tonnes of dangerous waste annually with the most hazardous waste being present in liquid form. At present, there is no practical solution for the treatment of hazardous waste. The waste produced is mostly stored in landfills, prompting swift action in this regard, in order to achieve a more sustainable future. Take up with haste recycling, not waste-The Recycling and Waste Management Pavilion
------------------------------------------------------
In keeping with this phenomenon, a new feature will be added to this year’s Expo namely the “Recycling and Waste Management Pavilion”. Companies / Organisations specialising in this field will be provided with an opportunity to showcase their services and innovative solutions.
