✨ Many of you have been asking what our charity partner will be for next year's Long Ladies Lunch, and we're excited to announce that we have chosen the Starship Foundation.

The Long Ladies Lunch will be held on Friday, 19 March 2027, so be sure to lock it into your calendar!

💙 Why Starship?
We have chosen Starship because of the incredible work they do supporting New Zealand's national children's hospital. Their fundraising helps provide life-changing medical care, specialist equipment, groundbreaking research, and support services for children and their families throughout New Zealand. Their impact reaches thousands of young lives every year, making a real difference when it matters most.

We are thrilled to share that they have donated an additional $500, bringing their total contribution to an amazing $1,000!

🎀 The Mercury Bay Pink Ribbon Breakfast fundraising total now stands at $32,407 and are now sitting second in the most funds raised overall on the New Zealand leaderboard.

Last week I had the privilege of being invited by Simeon Brown to attend the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ breakfast at Parliament.

It was such a special and inspiring day, meeting so many amazing people including survivors, researchers, surgeons, doctors, pharmacists, Ministers, and major sponsors all coming together to support such an important cause.

A huge thank you for the invitation and for all the incredible work being done to support those affected by breast cancer across New Zealand 💗

What an incredible day – I’m honestly so stoked with the amount we raised 💛

As most of you know, this was my last year hosting for the Breast Cancer Foundation in our area, and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported this event over the years. It truly means so much 💕

A very special thank you to my mum for everything you did before, during, and after the event – I couldn’t have done it without you 💛

To my amazing 5am crew who helped set up and then rushed off to get ready – you are absolute legends and our wonderful volunteers on the day:
