An update for all of our sunnie lovers ☔️💛🌻

With all of the flooding we are suffering locally we have decided to close for the rest of the season and will not open this weekend.

This is a photo of Rukuwai stream from our front door. We need to hunker down and look after ourselves and our animals.

Thank you for all of the support this season, we are sad it’s come to an abrupt halt but have enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to reconnecting next year.

Morena sunnie lovers 🌻✨

Well the rain we had hoped for has finally come - just a little more than we expected 😂☔️🌧️

We are CLOSED today (Sunday 18th Jan) Due to weather.
The carpark and walking tracks would be too slippery to open and the forecast is telling us the rain is set in for the day.

We will touch base later in the week to see if we can potentially open for one more day next week - depending on how the flowers hold up - will keep you posted!

We really appreciate all of the support so far, it’s so heartening to see so much love for our fields of gold 🌻

This is you friendly reminder that this could be the last weekend of the Rukuwai Sunnie Fields so if you have had us pencilled in on your Northland roadie now is your chance to visit 🌻✨

The heat has been intense this summer and the sunnies are starting to suffer so we recommend you stop by before it’s too late. There are still pockets of brilliance but some@are starting to droop their heavy heads 🥵

$10 per adult, $5 per kid. Kids under 2 free.
1x free stem per entry. Bunches available for purchase (5 stems for $20)
Real Fruit Ice Creams and Ice Blocks and water available for purchase.
We have one contactless payment machine on site so best to bring cash just in case.
No dogs as this is a working farm. Please respect troughs, electric fences, cattle and machinery. But above all else BE KIND AND HAVE FUN!

Looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces in the sunnies this weekend. 🌻💛 These hot conditions mean this could be our last weekend open as the sunflowers haven’t had much rain so if you haven’t come yet this season we suggest coming this weekend just in case!
